Making Recovery Visible in Communities
Hadrian's Wall 2016 Recovery Expedition
In Partnership with:
To celebrate and promote September’s world-wide recovery month, AGRO Cymru CIC and North Wales Recovery Communities walked Hadrian's Wall.
Starting in Bowness-on-Solway Cumbria on the 15th September, the expedition covered 84 miles over a 6 day period finishing at Wallsend in Newcastle on the 20th.
As one of the UK’s oldest recovery groups, AGRO have long championed “Recovery through activity” and alongside its partner charity N.W.R.C, hope to once again highlight the possibilities for individuals in recovery from substance misuse.
Whilst the expedition is self-funded, we are hoping to raise funds to provide future activities for individuals in recovery. Therefore any offers of sponsorship will be warmly received.
For any further information on sponsorship or around the expedition itself then please contact James Deakin at firstname.lastname@example.org
